About Us

Welcome! I am Jessica Fulton, the owner and lead educator here at Bayou Creative Arts Studio. I have been a certified teacher for 25 years and am currently homeschooling my four children.

 

Since I was a child, I have found immense joy in creating with my hands. It is no wonder because we were created by the Creator to create! Humanity's capacity to imagine, create, and reason reflects God's own creative nature.  It is my desire that people who enter our studio would find joy and be encouraged to use their creative gifts for good works to the glory of God. (Ephesians 2:10)

My favorite form of creative expression is quilting and sewing, but I also love to paint, crochet, and cross stitch. I am a native Floridian and love the beach. My favorite snack is chips and salsa. I love spending time with my family. When not sewing or crafting, I am most often found reading because I adore learning new things!
