Bayou Creative Arts Studio is located just west of I-95 at 3127 West International Speedway Blvd in Daytona Beach.
Head west on ISB and get in the left hand lane as you pass under the light at Tomoka Farms Rd/SR 415. You will need to make a U-turn at the next light which is Francis Drive. After the U-turn, our driveway is immediately on the right after you pass the Tropical Fish store.
We are located in the middle building. Enter through the double doors under the green awning.
We are only open during scheduled classes and events or by appointment only.
We have Singer Heavy Duty 64S machines and lots of tools in class for you to use! You are also welcome, and encouraged, to bring your own sewing machine.
We encourage students to bring a water bottle. If attending a camp, then yes bring a small snack. We have a kitchen with a refrigerator that students may use if necessary. We do not eat snacks in the studio, but in the kitchen or at the table outside in the breezeway.
We make sure every student has a Registration/Waiver Form filled out prior to taking a class, camp or workshop. This form has a section for medical conditions. If your child has a food or environmental allergy, please inform us ahead of time, as well as indicate it on the form. We will make sure every instructor is aware of your child’s condition.
Photos and/or videos may be taken during classes and events for promotional purposes. When registering for a class, camp, or event you will complete a photo release form and indicate if you give permission for your photo/video to be used. We will respect your wishes if you do not give permission for your photo/video to be used.
All staff and volunteers must undergo Level 2 background screenings. A Florida Level 2 background check is a fingerprint-based, comprehensive screening mandatory for positions of trust (healthcare, education, childcare).
We suggest students take classes independently. We want all students to stay focused. We feel that when parents/guardians are present, children tend to be distracted and their attention is split. We suggest parents either drop students off or sit in the lobby where they can comfortably monitor their child. If a child has special needs and requires assistance, exceptions will be made.
