Bayou Creative Arts Studio is located just west of I-95 at 3127 West International Speedway Blvd in Daytona Beach.Head west on ISB and get in the left hand lane as you head west through the light at Tomoka Farms Rd/SR 415. You will need to make a U-turn at the next light which is Francis Drive. After the U-turn, our driveway is immediately after passing the Tropical Fish store on the right.We are located in the middle building of the Spine & Strength facility. Enter through the double doors under the green awning.

We are only open during scheduled classes and events or by appointment only. For the safety and security of our students, Bayou Creative Arts Studio keeps its doors locked during classes and activities. Entry is limited to currently enrolled students, their parent or legal guardian, and individuals who have been authorized in advance by the studio. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can create with confidence!

We have Singer Heavy Duty 64S machines and lots of tools in class for you to use! You are also welcome, and encouraged, to bring your own sewing machine.

We encourage students to bring a water bottle. If attending a camp OR back to back classes, then yes bring a snack or lunch. We have a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave that students may use.

We make sure every student has a Registration/Waiver Form filled out prior to taking a class, camp or workshop. This form has a section for medical conditions. If your child has a food or environmental allergy, please inform us ahead of time, as well as indicate it on the form. We will make sure every instructor is aware of your child’s condition.

We LOVE to celebrate our student's and show off their artwork! Photos and/or videos may be taken during classes and events for promotional purposes. When registering for a class, camp, or event you will complete a photo release form and indicate if you give permission for your photo/video to be used. We will respect your wishes if you do not give permission for your photo/video to be used.

Yes, absolutely! All staff must undergo Level 2 background screenings. A Florida Level 2 background check is a fingerprint-based, comprehensive screening mandatory for positions of trust (healthcare, education, childcare). Clearance is obtained through the FBI and DCF.

We suggest students take classes independently. We want all students to stay focused. We feel that when parents/guardians are present, children tend to be distracted and their attention is split. We suggest parents either drop students off or parents may sit in the lobby where they can comfortably monitor their child. If a child has separation anxiety or has special needs and requires assistance, then accomodations will be made for the parent/guardian to remain with the child.
